Jason Salavon, Homes for Sale, 1999/2001/2002
From a series begun in 1997, the prints in this suite are the result of mean averaging a specific number of realtor photos of single-family homes for sale. Each piece encompasses homes on the market in a given metro region in the median price range for that area.
I think Jason Salavon really creates some interesting work, and that I can reference my series quite directly to the example above. This though is a series of different houses in the same region -settled, while my pictures are made of surrounding samples while I am in movement which includes the aspect of time as well.
